Glastonbury, CT (December 10, 2020) – Around 11:52 a.m. on Thursday morning, December 10, a head-on crash with serious injuries occurred in Glastonbury.

According to police, the accident took place at 575 Neipsic Road when a pickup truck and a sedan collided with one another. It is not known what caused one of the vehicles to veer across the line and strike another.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash. Both of the drivers were injured as a result of the accident and taken to local hospitals. Their injuries are believed to be serious.

The roadway was closed in the area between Wickham Road and Oakwood Drive for some time. Police quickly cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
