Hartford, CT (February 8, 2021) – Around 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon, February 8, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Hartford.

According to local officials, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of I-91 around the area of Jennings Road. Few details have been released but police confirmed that multiple vehicles collided with each other. The vehicles were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
