Hartford, CT (March 1, 2021) – On Friday night, February 26, a woman was killed in a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Hartford.

According to officials, the accident happened at 1000 Albany Avenue when a woman was walking in the area and was suddenly struck by a vehicle. The vehicle immediately fled the scene without stopping.

When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the pedestrian lying on the roadway and rushed her to Saint Francis Hospital. The pedestrian, identified as 32-year-old Kedine Campbell, was pronounced dead while there.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision remains ongoing.
