Woodbury, CT (March 15, 2021) – Around 4:47 p.m. on Saturday evening, March 13, a two-car crash occurred at an intersection in Woodbury.

According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of US-6 and Flanders Road. Two vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not yet known, with both vehicles sustaining heavy damage.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash. One person was trapped inside of their vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. One or more victims were immediately hospitalized.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for several hours.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
