Salem, CT (March 17, 2021) – Around 3:39 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, March 17, a car crash took place at an intersection in Salem.

According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of CT-85 and Rattlesnake Ledge Road. Few details have been released but it is believed that two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which led to damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
