Bridgeport, CT (April 1, 2021) – At 7 a.m. on Thursday morning, April 1, a car crash took place at an intersection in Bridgeport.

According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of North Avenue and River Street. Two or more vehicles collided after entering the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages in the involved vehicles.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was completely blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
