Bridgeport, CT (April 2, 2021) – Around 7 p.m. on Thursday evening, April 1, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Bridgeport.

According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Boston Avenue and Pembroke Street. Several vehicles collided after they entered the intersection, which led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. Five people were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
