Torrington, CT (May 14, 2021) – On Thursday night, May 13, a pedestrian accident involving children occurred on a roadway in Torrington.
According to police, a 9-year-old and a 13-year-old were playing outside. The two boys were riding a scooter and a skateboard when they crossed Prospect Street. A vehicle traveling in the area struck the two boys around 9 p.m.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene. The two brothers were flown to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. They have since been released from the hospital.
The area was blocked for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
