East Haven, CT (May 18, 2021) – On Saturday, May 15, a serious motorcycle accident occurred on a roadway in East Haven.

According to police, the accident happened on Foxon Road around the area of Maple Street. A motorcycle was driving west on Foxon when a passenger vehicle collided with it. The motorcycle was left with extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. A female passenger on the motorcycle was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the motorcycle and the driver of the passenger vehicle were treated at the scene and taken to hospitals.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
