Glastonbury, CT (June 9, 2021) – At 4 a.m. on Wednesday morning, June 9, a man was killed in a fatal pedestrian crash in Glastonbury.
According to officials, the accident happened on CT-2. At the time, a 38-year-old man from Enfield was driving east when he struck a pedestrian walking in the area. The vehicle was so badly damaged that it had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The pedestrian, identified as 33-year-old Malcolm Privott, was pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time following the collision.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
