Stamford, CT (December 21, 2020) – Around 3:20 p.m. on Monday afternoon, December 21, one person was killed in a fatal accident in Stamford.

According to police, the accident involved two vehicles and happened at 455 Hope Street around a local shopping center. A 50-year-old was driving his Nissan Pathfinder and traveling southbound around the area of the shopping center when his vehicle collided with a minivan being driven by a 55-year-old.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene where they found that the driver of the Nissan was unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at Stamford Hospital.

The driver of the minivan was injured and rushed to Stamford Hospital for treatment.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
