Clinton, CT (November 27, 2020) – On Wednesday, November 25, two people were killed in a fatal truck accident on a Clinton highway.
Police confirmed that the accident took place on I-95 when a tractor-trailer and a sedan collided with each other. A man from New Haven was operating a Honda CR-V and traveling south. For reasons that are still being investigated, the vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer.
The driver and passenger in the Honda were both pronounced dead at the scene. The driver has since been identified as 35-year-old Olgar Armijos and the passenger was identified as 41-year-old Heraldo Solano.
The truck driver was not injured but remained at the scene of the accident.
State Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
