Hebron, CT (May 28, 2021) – At 10 a.m. on Thursday morning, May 27, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident occurred on a roadway in Hebron.

According to officials, the accident happened in the parking lot on Church Street for the Church of the Holy Family. A black SUV was traveling through the parking lot when the driver struck a pedestrian walking in the area. The driver then fled the scene.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The unidentified pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police are still searching for the driver responsible for the accident. She is expected to have black hair and weighs approximately 140 pounds.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
