Stamford, CT (April 14, 2021) – Around 10:55 p.m. on the night of Tuesday, April 13, a pedestrian accident with injuries occurred on a road in Stamford.

According to Stamford Police, the accident happened on Grove Street. A 35-year-old man was traveling south in a Dodge Durango when he suddenly collided with a pedestrian that was walking in the area.

The pedestrian, identified only as a Stamford resident, was trying to cross the street at the time of the crash. The party was transported to Stamford Hospital with life-threatening injuries. They remain in critical condition at this time.

The operator of the Dodge remained at the scene and worked with the police.

No further details have been released. The investigation continues.
