Stratford, CT (December 29, 2020) – On Sunday night, December 27, a two-vehicle accident took place on a major highway in Stratford.

According to officials, the accident took place in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of exit 33 when two vehicles collided with each other. One of the vehicles involved immediately caught on fire. Police said that the vehicle that caught on fire had rolled over.

The people involved in the accident were able to get out of their vehicles. The parties were evaluated and taken to the hospital for treatment. They are all expected to recover.

The roadway was blocked in the northbound lanes of traffic for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
