Waterford, CT (December 8, 2020) – On Tuesday morning, December 8, two people were injured in a car accident in Waterford.

The accident happened at 300 Boston Post Road around the area of Stoneheights Drive and Fog Plain Road. Police did not confirm the circumstances of the accident but have said that two or more vehicles collided with each other in the area.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the crash. Two people, who have not yet been identified, were rescued from their vehicles by fire crews. The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. They are expected to recover.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
