Bridgeport, CT (April 16, 2021) – Around 7:30 p.m. on the evening of Thursday evening, April 15, a four-car crash occurred in Bridgeport.

According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Mountain Grove Street and Fairfield Avenue. Four vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved were extensively damaged.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two victims were trapped in their vehicles and had to be freed by fire crews. The victims were then transported to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

The intersection was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time.

Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
