Bridgeport, CT (June 11, 2021) – At 5:45 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, June 10, a moped accident occurred on a roadway in Bridgeport.

According to officials, the accident happened at 1800 Boston Avenue. Police confirmed that a passenger vehicle and a moped were traveling in the area when they collided due to unknown reasons. The moped was extensively damaged due to the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the moped, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
