Ellington, CT (December 22, 2020) – Around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, December 22, three people were injured in a car accident in Ellington.

Police confirmed that the accident took place on CT-83 around the area of Talcottville Road. The vehicles involved in the accident were identified as a Ford Fusion and a Pontiac Bonneville, which collided due to reasons that are not yet known.

The adult male driving the Fusion, as well as his juvenile passenger, were both injured in the accident. The male driver of the Bonneville was injured as well. The three victims were all hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
