Fairfield, CT (May 21, 2021) – At 7 p.m. on Thursday evening, May 20, a car crash with injuries occurred in Fairfield.

According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Fairfield Woods Road and Stillson Road when two or more vehicles collided. It is believed that a driver breezed through a stop sign without stopping. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged, with debris scattered all over the roadway.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked for an hour until police cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
