Fairfield, CT (February 9, 2021) – Around 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning, February 9, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Fairfield.

According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Coolidge Street. Few details have been released but police confirmed that the accident led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time.
