Fairfield, CT (May 5, 2021) – On Tuesday afternoon, May 4, a two-vehicle collision happened on a major roadway in Fairfield.

According to officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Kings Highway. Two vehicles collided with one another in the area, which caused them to leave the roadway. The vehicles both had extensive front-end damage.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Both the drivers of the vehicles sustained injuries and were hospitalized. They are expected to make full recoveries.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
