Greenwich, CT (February 17, 2021) – At 1 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, February 17, a multi-vehicle crash took place on a highway in Greenwich.

According to police, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Arch Street. Few details have been released but it is believed that multiple vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages to those involved.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
