Guilford, CT (April 5, 2021) – Around 10:52 a.m. on the morning of Monday, April 5, a truck accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Guilford.

According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Boston Post Road. A truck and one or more other vehicles allegedly collided with each other in the area. This led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
