Hartford, CT (March 16, 2021) – Around 7:35 a.m. on Tuesday morning, March 16, a multi-vehicle accident took place on a bridge in Hartford.

According to local officials, the accident happened on Route 2 on the Founders Bridge. Multiple vehicles collided in the area for reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries.

The westbound lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time in the area.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
