Hartford, CT (March 8, 2021) – Around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday night, March 6, a serious car accident took place on a roadway in Hartford.

According to officials, the accident happened on Collins Street when three vehicles collided with each other in the area. Police also received reports that there was a gun involved in the incident.

One person involved in the accident was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. Another person was reportedly stabbed and had injuries. A total of three people were hospitalized but their conditions are not yet known.

Collins Street was blocked off in the area for approximately two hours as police cleared the accident scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
