Hartford, CT (January 29, 2021) – On Thursday night, January 28, a two-vehicle accident with injuries took place on a highway in Hartford.

According to the Department of Transportation, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-91 around exits 33 and 34. Two vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not fully known, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.

Four right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation is currently ongoing.
