Meriden, CT (January 23, 2021) – At 7:56 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, January 23, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on a Meriden highway.

According to police, the accident took place on I-691 around the area of Columbia Street. Few details have been released but police confirmed that multiple vehicles collided in the area when one or more lost control. This led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
