Milford, CT (January 22, 2021) – At 7:11 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, January 20, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Milford.

According to State Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Exit 40. Few details have been released but it is believed that multiple vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic for an extended period of time.
