New Haven, CT (February 11, 2021) – Around 1:41 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, February 11, a multi-vehicle collision took place on a major highway in New Haven.

According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-91 around the area of Trumbull Street. Few details have been released but it is believed that two or more vehicles collided in the area. This led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions and identities are not known at this time.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes for a period of time.
