Redding, CT (April 6, 2021) – Around 9:15 p.m. on Monday night, April 5, a two-vehicle collision led to injuries on a roadway in Redding.

According to officials, the accident took place on CT-107 near the Redding Elementary School when two vehicles collided with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. Two drivers were transported to Danbury Hospital with critical injuries caused by the accident. Their current conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes for a period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
