Southington, CT (February 4, 2021) – Around 7:19 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, February 4, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Southington.

According to police, the accident took place in the eastbound lanes of I-84 around the area of Marion Avenue when multiple vehicles collided in the area. Few details have been released regarding the circumstances of the accident but it is believed that multiple vehicles were damaged.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes of traffic for a period of time.
