Stamford, CT (January 16, 2021) – On Thursday evening, January 14, a car accident with injuries took place on a roadway in Stamford.

According to police, the accident took place around 4:30 p.m. on West Main Street. Police confirmed that multiple vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not yet known, causing extensive damages to the involved vehicles.

Paramedics and numerous other responders in the area were dispatched to the scene. They helped one or more victims with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

Eastbound traffic was closed in the area between Havemeyer Lane and Alvord Lane until police cleared the scene.
