Stamford, CT (April 19, 2021) – Around 7 p.m. on the evening of Sunday, April 18, a motorcycle accident occurred at an intersection in Stamford.

According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of West Main Street and Wilson Street. At the time, a 30-year-old driver was traveling west on Main in a GMC Envoy. They made a left turn at the intersection, which is when their vehicle struck a 2003 Honda motorcycle.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been formally identified, was taken to Stamford Hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains listed in critical condition.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes at the intersection for some time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
