Stratford, CT (May 12, 2021) – At 7:10 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, May 12, a car accident with injuries took place on a highway in Stratford.

According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Linden Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in multiple southbound lanes for a period of time.
